Interview with the popular singer Alexander Postolenko about his life and career.

Today we will tell you about Alexander Postolenko, the soloist of the legendary musicals “Notre Dame de Paris”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Monte Cristo”, “Count Orlov” and many others. Alexander is also the soloist of the popular Russian band “New Samotsvety”.

Where did you get your education?

I received my first musical education after school. It was a music school where I studied conducting, and then there was the Novosibirsk Glinka Conservatory, work in the Opera and Ballet Theater. Later I moved to St. Petersburg, where I continued my studies at the N. Krupskaya Academy of Culture in the class “pop-jazz vocals”.

Your first works on stage and how did you manage to break into show business?

I got into show business by accident. In 2001, I went to the casting of the musical “Notre Dame de Paris” in Moscow and it was my first job as a big stage artist.

Then there was the musical “The Prophet”, where the famous showman Ilya Oleynikov was the composer (staged in Minsk)

How is your creative life going now and what do you want to achieve in the future?

Now my creative life is mainly touring with a musical show and the group “New Samotsvety”, with which in October we celebrated the creative anniversary of 15 years.

My future plans are to develop as an artist and I hope that soon you will hear my new songs.
