Interview with international model and influencer Aim Isen
1.How did you get into the modeling business?
I was 15 years old when my mother brought me to the «Сarina» modeling agency to teach me not to slouch and just try myself in modeling, since I was very thin and tall. A few months later, I already participated in the «Miss Astrakhan» contest, and later in international beauty contests.
2.Your first working contract? How did it go?
My first contract was in India. It was difficult because of ignorance of the English language, lack of experience and cultural differences. Despite this, I starred in the “United Colors of Benetton” campaign. This trip made me stronger, and this experience helped me on subsequent contracts.
3. Were there any funny cases with you on contracts? Tell me about one of them.
I remember my first job in Bangkok. I was with a commercial agency and I had to apply acting skills at auditions and jobs. My first shoot was for ice cream, it was not easy to play, and I was upset that I could not convey the emotions that the producer wants. By the way, the ice cream was not made from edible materials (so that it looked as perfect and colorful as possible).

5. The role of beauty contests in your life and career?
I have participated in seven local and international beauty contests. And I think that beauty contests have helped me in the development of personality and the ability to present myself. Also, with participation in competitions, I gained self-confidence and learned to endure refusals and losses with fortitude. For example, in Thailand I got more jobs after they found out that I participated in the «Miss Grand International». This contest is very popular there, as its organizers are from Bangkok.
6. What can you wish for models who are just starting their journey?
I want to wish you to believe in yourself and in your strength and never give up. Also, work on yourself not only on a physical level, but also on a mental one. Think positively and do not miss the opportunities that life presents to you.
